met tarynn this afternoon to yumcha at Tunglok and we both overslept and met 1.5 hours late. awesome! heehee! so here's some of the lovely dimsum we had! love the century egg & duck congee! they mixed in salted egg so it was REALLY good ♥ this time, i didn't pay as much attention to the food as tarynn isn't much of a photowhore, so i didn't want to freak her out by snapping multiple pictures of every dish (heehee). but besides that, we had too much to say! she never fails to make me laugh ♥
shopped a little after. heh heh. am so in love with lazy clothes. shucks. i'm just bored of thinking of what to wear all the time. yayy to throw-on clothes for school!

for this year, NYE was a pretty quiet one, but i enjoyed it nonetheless. although i... as a yearly tradition, was having NYE blues and fits prior to meeting shane. must be terribly tiring for him especially with the situation now :( (sorry!) since i was behaving like the usual festive monster, i guess he thought it was best to stuff me with desserts. (okay. must. stop. thinking. of. stairs.)
so first up, ice-cream at the daily scoop at chip bee gardens! love the lemon fizz float. highly sour and wonderfully refreshing. i think i got my full dose of vit c from that jug!
headed to the old favourite, mykii, after for their delightful rose beer & pistachio opera :) we were the only customers seated inside! suprisingly empty for NYE! ♥ the staff there. very polite & helpful & entertaining! they were downing tequila shots while working. hee! great place for a part-time job!
we were given party packs too! YAYYY! a photowhore's favourite!

before i go, Mel's 2010 Resolutions. as a daughter, to be more appreciative of my parents, no matter how they much they can annoy me and come up with devious ways to keep their money away from my reach. heehee.

finally, after a gazillion years, the blacks met up for christmas! had dinner at Dining With Sun (is that it?) at CHIJMES and cakes at Aerin's after! yummers!

and with my pirated rjc boyfriend, i found a new love! MAGGI GORENG! why haven't i discovered this gem till now?! it's like an indian/malay version of charkwayteow and it's soooo goood! had cheena dessert at the gardens too. tangyuans with ginger soup. the ones at this place weren't fantastic, but we had to settle for this as the other shop was closed:( am looking forward to our next trip there for better dessert!
am still thinking of resolutions. upon reflection, i think one of my resolutions made last year was to reply smses more often and i have! though still not all. very bad habit of mine... but i'll continue trying (if they're worth replying in the first place. haha, but if i do not reply, pls do not start assuming that your sms was trash).
